The State of New Jersey is urging all residents to get their flu shots this year. In 2009, 42 New Jersey residents lost their lives during flu season. This year, state officials are urging everyone over the age of six months old to get flu shots this year. There are over 160 million doses of flu shots available throughout the country, so there should not be any shortages of flu shots like there were last year. Some pharmacies and major retailers will be offering flu shots this year, as well as local doctors.
