The investigation into “Death Race 2012” claimed two victims on Monday. Two New Jersey State Troopers were suspended without pay, for their alleged roles in a 100-mph jaunt down the Garden State Parkway to Atlantic City. Sgt. Nadir Nassry, a 25-year State Police veteran and Trooper Joseph Ventrella were suspended without pay, as officials investigate their roles as high speed escorts for a group of luxury cars that may have endagered the lives of other drivers on Friday, March 30th. Nassry’s attorney issued a statement that suggested the NJ Attorney General’s Office swung into action as a result of publicity from the news story that broke in the Newark Star-Ledger on Sunday.
