STATE TROOPER DIES FROM INJURIES SUFFERED IN ACCIDENT

A New Jersey State Trooper has died as a result of injuries he suffered in an accident Sunday morning on Interstate 195. State Police say trooper Marc Castellano died after he was struck by a vehicle on the interstate highway Sunday around 10am. Police say a 30 year old woman from Blackwood was found hiding in a wooded area after the officer was struck, and a search of the wooded are for a passenger took place on Sunday. The driver of the car has been identified as Diana Hoffman; she told police that a male passenger was inside her vehicle at the time of the accident that claimed Castellano’s life.
