A high ranking democratic state senator is openly criticizing republican Governor Chris Christie for being out of state and the same time Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno is also out of state. State Senator Raymond Lesniak says the state “clearly made a mistake” by creating the position of lieutenant governor if that person is not available when the governor is out of state. Christie is vacationing with his family in Florida, while Guadagno is with her family in Mexico. That means Senate President Steve Sweeney is the Acting Governor of the state during a week when the Garden State had a blizzard.
