STATE REVENUE FIGURES DOWN IN FIRST TWO MONTHS

State revenue figures continue to be troubling. New data released by the Treasury Department shows that the dollars collected by the state is below the projections of Gov. Chris Christie in his latest budget. The state brought in $1.9 billion, which is a little less than five percent below what was being projected. Christie was projecting a big year financially for the state when putting his numbers together.
