STATE REJECTS REVEL’S GENERATORS, DON’T MEET CLEAN AIR STANDARDS

New Revel owner Glenn Straub is 0 for 2. Straub brought in generators after the power company that supplied power to the casino cut the line because of a dispute with Straub. The state inspected generators that were brought in to power the Revel and said new ones would have to be ordered because they didn’t meet federal Clean Air Act pollution standards. The city is continuing to fine Revel $5,000 because there is no power to the fire suppression system inside of the casino.
