STATE POLICE ID BODY FOUND IN OCEAN CITY

A woman that was found dead in the surf in Ocean City has been identified. She is Cheryl Reda, 47 years old of O.C., N.J. Her cause of death has been ruled by the Southern Regional Medical Examiner’s Office as drowning and the manner of death has not been yet determined. The NJSP Major Crimes Unit, Missing Persons Unit, Cape May Prosecutor’s Office and the Ocean City Police responded to the scene. The investigation is ongoing, but the death is not considered suspicious and there were no obvious signs of trauma to the victim. The body was found near 57th St. in Ocean City.
