The head official of the State Police wants Gov. Chris Christie to use a helicopter in travel more often. A hearing was held on Tuesday and Superintendent Col. Rick Fuentes told lawmakers that he believes it is safer to take a governor by helicopter than it is to drive that person to an event. Fuentes also deferred questions of whether Christie was right or not to take the helicopter to see his son’s baseball game. The Superintendent told the panel that it is not his job to question the governor, but rather protect him.
