The New Jersey Policeman’s Benevolent Association is calling the murder of two cops in Brooklyn over the weekend a “hate crime”. Patrick Colligan heads up the association and calls the attack on the two officers an act of domestic terrorism that results from hatred directed at police officers. The two cops were gunned down as they sat in their patrol car over the weekend; the gunman took his own life.
