A huge drug arrest in North Jersey involved multi-state agencies. A Middletown couple are under arrest and facing serious charges including drug distribution, illegal weapons and ammunition, and endangering the welfare of children. Numerous illegal weapons and narcotics were seized from the home, including: 5 assault-type rifles and 6 handguns. Two of the weapons were reported stolen from Georgia and Kentucky. Over 800 rounds of ammunition and 34 high-capacity magazines were taken as evidence. The investigation culminated in the early morning hours of Friday, May 18th with the execution of a search warrant at a residence on the 500 block of Clubhouse Drive in Middletown. Detectives arrested Edwin Class Jr. 30, and Michelle Galioto 28, who lived in the house with their two children. Assisting with the arrests were members of the NJSP TEAMS, Canine, and Weapons Trafficking Unit, the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, and Division of Youth and Family Services.
