STATE POLICE AND WILDWOOD BEACH PATROL HELD SURF RESCUE TRAINING

A training session was held for police, fire, and first aid responders in Wildwood on Saturday to go over proper techniques for rescuing people from the surf. Lifeguards are primarily the ones who are saving people from the surf, but after hours, these first responders are often the ones that have to make the save. A second session will run July 21-23 in Sea Isle City, and a final course will be held September 9-12.
