A high ranking state official says it isn’t all doom and gloom. New Jersey Treasurer Andrew Sidamon-Eristoff said that the state was “on the right path” during a press conference on Wednesday. Eristoff admitted there are a few hurdles the state still needs to get past, but that the state is moving in the right direction. Unemployment is down from its record high, but still remains double where it was a few years ago. The current state unemployment rate is 9.6 percent.
