Tons of storm debris, including stranded boats litter New Jersey’s lagoons and inland waterways. The state Department of Environmental Protection wants to clean up the mess before the summer season and has announced a plan of action, according to The Press of Atlantic City. New Jersey waterways will be divided into 11 zones and three contractors will be hired to complete the job. Most of the mess can be found in Ocean and Monmouth Counties. As yet the cost of the cleanup has not been estimated.
