STATE MAKING WILDWOOD CREST WAITING ON RAMBLER PROJECT

Wildwood Crest officials are ready to go with the Rambler Road park project, but the state isn’t letting them yet. The borough is waiting on CAFRA permitting before the project can get underway. Borough Clerk Kevin Yecco says they want to avoid doing serious work during the summer if they can avoid it and hope to hear something by the end of this month. The work includes new ADA compliant bathrooms and the reconstruction of the bike path, among other items. Yecco says all funding is in place already.
