STATE, LBI MUST PAY UP FOR TAKING PROPERTY FOR DUNES

Long Beach Township and the State of New Jersey both have to cough up funding for temporarily taking the properties of beachfront homeowners for the construction of a massive dune system.  An Ocean County assignment judge admits the move was only temporary, but the property owners must still be reimbursed for their losses.  No word yet on how much money will have to be paid.
