The Assembly Budget Committee had many comments on the unfairness of making low-income seniors pay over $100 for some drugs in the near future. The information came out of a budget hearing on Monday, where the changes would go into effect after the new year. The new plan would impose a $310 deductible per person that seniors would have to hit before their co-pays would take effect. The two programs discussed as apart of this change was the Pharmaceutical Assistance to the Aged and Disabled, and Senior Gold.
