STATE DOESN’T ASK FOR MONEY BACK FOLLOWING UNITED AIRLINES AC FLIGHTS

State officials did not ask for funding back that was provided to United Airlines, who pulled the plug on an experimental air service at the Atlantic City International Airport. The Associated Press reports that the state had the ability to ask for $100,000 in funding back from United for ending a one year experimental flight service from South Jersey four months early. The AP reports that the decision was tied to delicate negotiations between United Airlines and the state regarding its service at Newark’s Liberty International Airport.
