STATE: ATLANTIC CITY, WE NEED YOUR NEW BUDGET BY MONDAY

Monday is the deadline for Atlantic City to produce an amended budget to the State of New Jersey.  State officials say the revised budget is due by Monday, and also has criticized the city for not raising taxes and asking for too much assistance from the State itself.  The Press of Atlantic City reports that the budget is due by Monday so the Local Finance Board can adopt it at its meeting on November 9th.
