STATE AGAIN CONSIDERING GAMBLING OUTSIDE OF ATLANTIC CITY

The prospect of a casino in the Meadowlands isn’t completely dead. A study is being commissioned by the Assembly gaming committee to look at the possibility of a casino in the north of the state. Assemblyman John Amedeo was the sole “no” vote in the committee. Casino heads in Atlantic City don’t support any move, which could take more business away from the resort.
