Eight people were arrested for distributing heroin and cocaine. U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman confirms that those people were arrested on Thursday. A standoff happened between authorities and one of the suspects. They all made their first appearance in court on Thursday afternoon. The arrests were a combined federal, state, and local effort.
