St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church in the Ducktown section of Atlantic City reopened on Sunday morning, but only fopr the summer season. Last June the Diocese of Camden announced that St. Michael’s and St. Monica’s churches would be closed, due to declining attendance and revenue difficulties. The 113 year-old St. Michael’s church will be open through the weekend of the Miss America Pageant, when it will close again for the off-season, leaving only two year-round catholic churches servicing Atlantic City.
