Sports fans who follow high school football in the Cape-Atlantic League know how great the St. Joseph football program has been throughout the years. Now the rest of the country also knows, as the Wildcats from the Hammonton parochial school have been ranked at number seven in the country in a preseason poll by Maxpreps.com. The top ten ranking is in the small schools category with enrollment of less than 1,000. St. Joe won their sixth consecutive state championship last year and have won 21 straight games over two seasons. Their 2015 season opens on Friday, September 11th at St. Augustine Prep at 6 p.m.
