SPORTS UPDATE: WILDWOOD CATHOLIC TEAMS WIN, OCEAN CITY GIRLS WIN

Two games, two victories for the Wildwood Catholic High School basketball programs.  In a game broadcast live last evening on WJSE, Wildwood Catholic won it’s first round game against St. Joseph’s of Hammonton, 63-46.  The Crusaders play the winner of the Cardinal McCarrick-Calvary Christian game on Friday.  Wildwood Catholic girls defeated Timothy Christian, 81-47.  Next up for the Lady Crusaders, a difficult second round game against top seed Roselle Catholic Friday night.  Ocean City’s girls team picked up a 61-39 win over Seneca Wednesday night.  The CAL champions next battle Cumberland Thursday night, weather permitting.
