SPORTS: PHILS SEND PAPELBON TO WASHINGTON

The Philadelphia Phillies began to clean house on Tuesday evening as they traded relief pitcher Jonathan Papelbon to the Washington Nationals for a minor league pitcher.  The Phillies will be getting Double-A pitcher Nick Pivetta in the trade.  Papelbon was outspoken about his desire to leave the struggling Phillies, and Tuesday night, he got his wish.
