SPIRIT FLIGHT CANCELLED DUE TO OVERWORKED CREW

On Tuesday Spirit Airlines was forced to cancel Flight 311 from Atlantic City because the crew had exceeded its federally mandated work limits. The crew that was scheduled to work Flight 311 never arrived  at the airport because their inbound flight was cancelled due to maintenance issues. Spirit said the company transported most passengers to Philadelphia where they were able to catch other flights.
