The major airline that operates out of the Atlantic City International Airport is now charging customers for carry on bags. Spirit Airlines’ new policy of charging between $30 to $45 for carry on bags went into effect on Sunday. Customers are charged the higher fee is they alert the airline to their carry on bag at check in. Spirit Airlines says this move is expected to not only generate revenue, but greatly improve the speed of passenger boarding.
