SPINE INJURIES GOING DOWN IN CAPE MAY

A public awareness campaign is paying off in Cape May. Less people are suffering spinal injuries in the city. There were large drop offs in sand from beach replenishment projects that caused many of these injuries. Less than a dozen injuries were reported in July and August, down significantly from last year. Chad DeSatnick called in on The Morning Wake Up on Wednesday when State Senator Jeff Van Drew was in studio to thank him for his help in making this happen. DeSatnick has led the charge to get more public awareness out there to help avoid injuries like this in the future.
