SPECIAL ELECTION DATE SET IN CAPE MAY FOR PARKING ORDINANCE

Voters in Cape May will have their say on a new parking ordinance. City Clerk Diane Weldon confirmed that a special election date of Sept. 8 will be held for two parking issues. The two ballot questions will include, whether meters should be installed in East Cape May, and whether angled parking would be put in for a portion of Beach Ave. to create additional parking spots. The Friends and Neighbors of East Cape May were the petitioners in each issue.
