Middle Township Police have arrested a 52 year old man from Mantua after he attempted to assault a police officer. It happened Saturday evening behind a Walmart as authorities responded to a brush fire. Police say Alan Miscavage became aggressive towards three police officers and attempted to assault one of them. He was taken to the County Jail on $45,000 cash bail.
