Big growth was announced by South Jersey Gas on Thursday. It its latest document filing, it reported adding 6,000 customers in 2012, which is the largest growth the utility has seen since 2006. South Jersey Gas has been expanding to areas that previously were unable to pick up their service, and the results have been strong so far. South Jersey Gas serves about 357,300 customers.
