A high honor for a local police officers. The Somers Point Police Department announced that Sgt. Howard Dill graduated from the prestigious West Point Command and Leadership Academy. Sgt. Dill attended the Academy one day a week for 14 weeks which included 2-3 hours of study per night for every hour of class room instruction. Areas of study include leadership as a science behavior and motivational theory, stress management, communication and counseling and inter- group conflict management.
