SOME HOMESTEAD REBATE CHECKS REQUESTED BACK IN STATE

A new report says some families may be responsible for paying back their Homestead rebate check. The Office of the State Comptroller released that roughly 3800 residents reported living in multi-family homes while only living in one unit. In these cases, the person who received the check has to pay back the difference.
