SOME BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS MOVED TO TOMS RIVER

New Jersey’s high school basketball finals have left Rutgers University and are coming to Toms River.  Championship games in all six of New Jersey’s high school divisions will be moving closer to Cape May County, to the Pine Belt Arena in Toms River.  State officials say the move makes the finals more accessible and centrally located in an outstanding facility.  Attendance at recent championship games has fallen over the past few years.
