Many locals were surprised when snow started to fall on Sunday. Social media was abuzz as it was cold enough for some light snow and freezing rain to fall. The conditions were right for any of it to stick but it certainly got some attention. Freeze warnings were issues overnight during the weekend because of the rapid drop in temperatures. It should warm up to the 70’s by later in the week for those who aren’t ready for the cold just yet.
