A snake caused thousands of people to be without power on Monday. Atlantic City Electric officials say that a snake got into substation and that caused power to go out to around 3,500 customers. The majority of the power outage was in Middle Township, including county buildings like the Crest Haven Nursing Complex. Power went out shortly after 11 a.m. and was out for a few hours.
