A small fire in a transformer room at an Atlantic City casino forced the evacuation of one floor of the gaming hall on Saturday. Firefighters responded to Bally’s Wild West casino shortly before 7:00pm on Friday and found a transformer room filled with thick black smoke. The fire was under control in about an hour. Toxic smoke had to be cleared from the room and gamblers were allowed back inside the building.
