A fire in the bathroom of Middle Township High School caused an evacuation. Police say that a custodian put the fire out with an extinguisher. The incident took place on Thursday around 1:35 p.m. The department’s Detective Division along with the Cape May Co. Fire Marshal’s Office and the Cape May Court House Fire Department continue to investigate the small fire that was started in a boys bathroom.
