The U.S. Geological Survey’s national information center says a very small earthquake struck central New Jersey on Saturday morning. The quake measured a magnitude of 1.9 and was felt by only a small number of people in western Monmouth County and northern Ocean County. Local officials said that there were no injuries or damage reported after the quake that occurred at 7:13 a.m. Saturday, about 17 miles east/southeast of Trenton.
