The Atlantic City casino industry had another very difficult month in 2011. The industry got off to a sluggish start in the new year by posting an overall win figure of $255.4 million dollars, which represents a huge 13.2 percent decrease in revenue from one year ago. The Casino Control Commission released the final gaming numbers for January, 2011 Thursday afternoon and they show slot revenues at the casinos dropped by nearly 16 percent, while table game revenues fell by 8.3 percent. The Trump Plaza was the big loser, dropping a whopping one third of its entire gaming revenues from the same month last year.
