Yes, your ears did not deceive you overnight…some snow and sleet fell while you slept in Cape May County. A big storm front that resulted in much cooler temperatures this morning ended as a period of sleet and snow during the overnight hours. The changeover occurred around midnight and lasted for two hours. Some areas this morning have some sleet and a little snow on grassy areas this morning. Watch your driving for ice patches and slippery spots as a freeze warning was extended into the morning hours today. Warmer temperatures arrive tomorrow.
