A scuba diver from Sicklerville has asked the US Coast Guard if he can assist in their investigation in the capsizing of the Mandy Ness. According to The Press of Atlantic City, Steve Gatto, who dove on the Lady Mary wreck in 2009, has offered to lead a team of divers to video the wreckage of the Mandy Ness to help investigators understand what happened to the vessel. Capt. Jim Mears lost his life when the boat capsized off the coast of LBI earlier this month.
