SINGLE STREAM RECYCLING COULD BE COMING TO CAPE MAY COUNTY

An effort to increase recycling could be coming locally. Discussion is taking place between the Cape May County MUA and local mayors about single stream recycling. Others areas of the country have gone to this method, which does not require recycling items to be separated, and have seen huge increases in the amount of items received. If the county is going to implement it, individual municipalities need to go along with it.
