SIGNIFICANT DROP AT PUMP WEEK-TO-WEEK

Gas prices have dropped a lot in the run up to the Memorial Day weekend. Motorists in Cape May County have watched prices go down six cents in the past week, according to new data by AAA-Mid Atlantic. The average price for a gallon of gas currently sits at $2.71. The county is currently two cents below the state average of $2.73. AAA says they expect traveling to be up 5.4 percent this year nationally, which is good news for the tourism driven shore towns.
