On or about Tuesday, July 14th, traffic will be switched from the Diversionary Road to the Northbound Mainline and Bridges, eliminating the traffic lights in the Northbound direction of the Garden State Parkway at interchanges 9, 10, and 11. Traffic will be able to exit the Parkway at interchanges 9 and 11 while an exit ramp is constructed at the interchange for Stone Harbor Boulevard (10). A detour will be in effect at interchange 9 for interchange 10 through approximately Labor Day. Advance warning variable message signs (VMS boards) are planned to be set up on Tuesday July 7th to provide information to motorists.
