SHOWBOAT TO OPEN OVER 850 HOTEL ROOMS IN JULY

Developer Bart Blatstein announced on Friday that he plans to open 852 hotel rooms at the old Showboat Casino in Atlantic City this July. The Press of Atlantic City reports that Blatstein believes local and state leaders have given investors in the resort “a strong blueprint for fiscal stability” and “a clear path and bright future” for the city. The Showboat hotel re-opening would reportedly create the largest non-casino hotel in New Jersey.
