SHOULD ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS BE ALLOWED TO PAY IN-STATE TUITION RATES?

Among the biggest debates to take place in Trenton coming up is whether illegal immigrants will be paying in-state tuition rates or not. The bill is expected to get a committee vote in the Senate on Thursday and then a full Senate vote on Monday. The Tuition Equality Act, better known as the New Jersey DREAM Act has many split. Gov. Chris Christie initially opposed the bill but may have turned on those feelings based on comments made during the gubernatorial debates this year.
