SHOULD COUNTYWIDE BEACH UTILITY BE ENACTED?

An Assembly committee has approved a bill that would essentially turn over control of local beaches in Cape May County to the county itself.  If approved, a new bill would essentially form a countywide beach utility where a county would take over issues such as beach tags, beach expenses, and the like.  The measure essentially legalizes these countywide beach programs in four counties, including Cape May County.
