A successful promotion should continue next year. The Cape May County Chamber of Commerce held a “Shop Local” contest, with various prizes for shopping in the most municipalities and stores in the county. Chamber President Vicki Clark said the promotion worked well in its first year and will likely be expanded next year. This year it wrapped up in the middle of the month so winners could be announced at the chamber’s monthly meeting.
