Wildwood Police have signed a criminal complaint against the owner of the Ship-and-Shore Bar. Eileen Helm has been charged with maintaining a nuisance. This news is on the heels of the riot that took place at the bar on July 17, and the nearly two dozen calls coming from the bar in the past year. Police said that an inspection was done of the premises and as a result of the inspection, several administration violations were found. The maintaining a public nuisance complaint is pending action in the Wildwood Municipal court. The New Jersey Division of Alcohol Beverage Control is looking into the administrative violations.
