Services will be held this Saturday morning in Avalon for former longtime Avalon Councilman Raymond Smith, who passed away on May 27th. Smith passed away at his home in Ocean View, and services will be held Saturday at 11:00am at the First United Methodist Church in Avalon. Smith served on the Avalon Borough Council from 1989 through 2004. He also served on council in Haddon Heights before relocating to Avalon. Smith was 83.
